FloraCraft® Make It: Fun® Foam:
Balls, three 4″ diameter
Scrap pieces of foam (for drying)

Other Materials:
Design Master® ColorTool® spray color: Holiday Red, Holiday Green, Flat White and Olive Bright
Glass candle holders, three, various heights from 4″ – 6″ tall
Large metal brads, 7/8″ diameter, forty-eight (sixteen per ball)

Large box (for spraying)
old newspapers
six toothpicks
paper towels
glue gun & glue sticks

  1. Insert toothpick(s) into one foam ball and set into a scrap of foam without ball touching foam, in order to spray. In a well-ventilated, newspaper-covered area (inside box) spray all sides of foam ball with red, remove from box and let dry. Similarly, use toothpicks and scraps of foam to spray other foam balls with olive green and holiday green and remove from box to dry.
  2. Thoroughly wash and dry candle holders. Inside box, spray them with several coats of white, allowing them to dry between coats. Remove from box to dry.
  3. Insert the prongs of twenty-four brads into scrap of foam, at least an inch apart. (Don’t push them all the way into foam.) Inside box, spray brads white and remove from box to dry.
  4. Then, taking turns, similarly spray eight brads of each color: Red, holiday green and olive bright green. Let dry.
  5. Insert eight white brads into each foam ball, evenly spacing as much as possible. Then insert eight holiday green brads into olive bright foam ball; red brads into holiday green foam ball; and olive bright into red foam balls. Adjust brads as needed to evenly space brads all around ball. (Optional: Spot glue underneath brads.)
  6. Set foam balls onto pedestals on a shelf or in a table display
