    • 6" x 3" Cone - Green
  • Assorted Succulents
  • Burlap Garland
  • Printed Burlap - Chevron
  • Jute Twine

Tools

  • Wire Cutters
  • Floral Pins
  • Scissors

Instructions

  1. Pin the end of the burlap garland to the narrow end of the cone letting about 1” hang over the bottom.  Wrap the burlap around the cone to the top wide end covering the sides completely.  Pin the burlap in place at the back of the cone, but don’t cut the burlap at this point.  Gather the burlap together and wrap it all the way around the top edge of the cone pinning it in place again at the back of the cone.  Creating this burlap “collar” will help conceal the top of the cone and the stems of the succulents.
  2. Insert the succulents into the top of the cone.  Use the wire cutters to cut the stems to the desired length for your arrangement.
  3. To make a simple bow, cut about an 8” length of the printed burlap, gather the burlap at the center and floral pin it into the arrangement.
  4. Use the jute twine to create the hanger.  Cut about a 1 yard length of twine and fold it in half to find the center.  Lay the center of the twine across the front of the cone about 1” up from the bottom.  Crisscross the ends of the twine at the back of the cone and bring the ends back around to the front.  Crisscross the ends again at the front of the cone and bring the ends to the back at the top of the cone.  Pin the twine to the back top of the cone about 1.5” apart.  Tie the ends together in a knot for the hanger.
