  1. Use Cut Tool to cut 2″ off pointed end of FloraCraft® Foam Cone and set Cone Point aside. For Mouse, press and roll pointed end of STYROFOAM™ Egg on work surface to shape for Mouse’s Head. Paint cut edge and paint down about 1″ on Cone and FloraCraft® Foam Egg with gray. Let dry.
  2. To fit Cone Point onto Mouse Head, use Cut Tool to hollow out flat edge of Cone. Check for fit, adjusting if necessary.
  3. To cover the Cone, make a pattern from copy paper, by wrapping it around cone, trimming bottom and piecing as need. Trace pattern on “Pumpkin Patch” paper and cut out. Wrap and use generous amount of glue stick to attach paper to Cone. Set aside. Similarly cover the Cone Point with “Pumpkin Patch” paper.
  4. For Halloween words, use 8 1/2″ x 11″ image provided or use computer to write words in different sizes and fonts on document. (Note: To personalize, instead of Halloween words, write children’s names or list the various costumes they have worn over the years.) Referring to Scrapbooking Attitude™ package directions, print mirror image (letters will be backwards) onto Scrapbooking Attitude™ Inkjet Film. Repeat to print second sheet of Scrapbooking Attitude™. To cover Cone, apply glue stick to paper surface. Remove backing, flip over film wrap and press Scrapbooking Attitude™ in place. Piece as necessary with second sheet to cover. Repeat to cover Cone Point.
  5. Referring to photo for position, use toothpick to attach Head to Cone, and hot glue to hold in place. For nose, push bead onto point of Head to make indentation and use glue gun to attach. For eyes, insert map pin about 1″ above nose. For ear, cut 1″ circle felt, trim off small slice making flat edge. Fold flat edge and glue to Head. Repeat for other ear. Use glue gun to attach Cone Point to Mouse Head.
  6. For Hat Brim, from “Candy Stripe” paper, use paper trimmer to cut three 1″ x 12″ strips with stripes parallel to 1″ edge. Trace STYROFOAM™ Disc on “Dot” paper and cut out. Apply generous amount of glue stick to Disc edge and wrap with “stripe” paper, piecing as needed. Similarly apply glue stick to Disc top and attach “Dot” paper. Let dry.
  7. Position and use glue gun to attach Cone on Hat Brim. For Hat Band, wrap ribbon around base of Cone, overlapping at one side. Tack glue in place. Diagonally trim ribbon ends.
