    • (1) 2 5/8" x 3 3/4" Mug Plug - Green
  • 4 1/2" Tall Clay Pot
  • 3 yd. x 18 Gauge Clear Green Wire
  • 12” x 12” Glitter Paper:
    • Light Green
    • Dark Green
  • Spray Paint - White
  • Paper Shreds - Iridescent

Instructions

In a well-ventilated area, spray clay pot with two light coats of white spray paint. Let dry.

  1. Apply tacky glue to Mug Plug and insert into the bottom of the clay pot. Apply additional glue to the top of the mug plug and cover with iridescent shreds. Let dry.
  2. Measure and use needle-nose pliers to cut wire into following lengths: 16″, 18″, 20″, 22″ and 24″.
  3. Use a wire cutter to cut 16″ length wire. Referring to the photo, use pliers to coil one end of the wire into a flat spiral. about the size of a nickel. Then by hand, bend the wire to make the first leaf of shamrock, approximately 1″ diameter and 1″ long. Continue to make two more leaves. The remaining 6” length of wire will become the stem. Repeat to make four more shamrocks with graduated length stems. Insert and arrange into the mug Plug in the pot.
  4. Use a circle cutter to cut seven – eight 1 1/2″ dark and 3/4″ light glitter paper circles. Referring to the photo, use glue dots to attach circles to the front of the pot and to shamrock stems, layering as desired. Sprinkle any remaining circles on a table near the pot.
