Supplies

FloraCraft® Design It:®
Silks & Naturals® Desert Foam® Brick, 2-5/8″ x 3-7/16″ x 3-7/16″
White Foam Scrap, approx. 3″ x 4″ x 8″ (for drying painted stems)
Wire Cutter
Foam Cutter

3″ x 4″ x 8″ tall popcorn box (paperboard or plastic with pre-printed red design)
Design Master® ColorTool® Spray Color: Black
Silk flowers:
(6) 4″ diameter Gerber Daisies, black and white, two each: striped, large dots, small dots
(5) 2″ diameter African Daisies, red
Red paper shreds
Four approx. 2″ diameter rocks (inside box for weight)
3D glue spots
Old newspapers
Large cardboard box (for spraying)

Instructions

  1. Use glue spots to attach rocks in bottom of popcorn box to add weight for stability. Place Foam into box and use Foam Cutter to trim as needed. Use glue spots to secure, as needed.
  2. Carefully, pull off heads of all flowers. In well-ventilated, newspaper-covered area, (inside cardboard box) spray stems Black. (Note: Insert stems into scrap of Foam to dry.) Replace heads back onto flowers.
  3. Refer to photo to arrange Gerber Daisies, working with one pair at a time and putting them across from each other, pressing them down into Foam. Use Wire Cutter to trim bottoms of stems to various lengths as needed. (Tip: So that flower heads tip out, carefully grasp the stem near base of flower and gently bend wire inside stem.)
  4. Fill in arrangement with red African daisies, trimming lengths as needed.
  5. Fill popcorn box with paper shreds. Display at party with un-buttered popcorn all around base.
