Tools:
FloraCraft® Design It:®
Wire cutter
– Floral shears

Basic supplies: glue stick, glue gun and glue sticks, paper towels, pencil

Instructions

  1. Use floral shears to cut 32″ length burlap ribbon. Generously apply all glue stick to 2″ edge of disc. Wrap burlap ribbon around disc, allowing ends to slightly overlap at back. Wrap extra 1/4″ width of ribbon around to bottom of disc and secure wired edge with glue gun.
  2.  Use wire cutter to cut apart cedar sprays into 4″ – 10″ lengths. Insert longer lengths into disc a couple of inches inside edge of disc so that greenery still extends out beyond edge. Continue inserting greenery radiating out from disc, going all around disc. Similarly, insert middle-sized lengths further in toward center of disc with ends overlapping and hiding where longer lengths were inserted. Finish filling in center of disc with short greenery lengths, allowing some to extend up. Fill in with more greenery where needed.
  3.  Use wire cutter to notch and bend to break off dowels at 6″, 8″ and 10″ lengths. Lightly wipe ink pad with paper towel and test darkness on another towel. Put just enough ink on towel to apply to dowel to lightly shade it, rubbing in the color so that wood isn’t so light. Then insert cut ends of dowels into disc in triangle formation, at staggered heights as shown. Hot glue one of each color bell onto top of each dowel. (Set aside other bells until Step 5.)
  4.  Use floral shears to cut gold wired ribbon into 16″, 18″ and 20″ lengths. Apply hot glue to one end of 16″ length and attach just under shortest bell, then loosely wrap around and around dowel to the bottom and secure with hot glue. Repeat with 18″ length on medium height bell, and 20″ length on tallest bell. Cut remaining ribbon into three 18″ lengths and tie into bows with long tails. Wrap tails around a pencil to loosely curl and glue bows underneath bells.
  5. Randomly place three remaining bells and pinecones into greenery and hot glue to hold. To display, sprinkle snow onto bells and greenery.
