Supplies

FloraCraft® Foam Disc: 9″x1¼”
Design It: Simple Style® 10″ Decorative Mesh: Blue Ombre
5/8″ sheer ribbon: Blue
1/8″ satin ribbon: Blue
Acrylic diamonds
Floral pins
Low-temp glue gun and glue sticks
Scissors
Tape measure

Instructions

  1. Gather the end of the mesh and pin it to the center of the disc. Insert the pins at a slight angle so they don’t go through the other side of the disc.
  2. Measure out 18″ and gather the mesh again at this point. Make a loop and pin the gathered section to the disc about 2″ over from the first pin.
  3. From this center loop begin gathering and pinning loops in aspiral pattern to cover the face of the disc. Pin a row of loops around the outside of the disc to cover completely. Cut the mesh and pin the end to secure.
  4. Cut two 30″ lengths of sheer ribbon for the hanger. Pin the ends of one ribbon at 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock on the back of the disc, then pin the ends of the other ribbon at 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock. Cut a 6″ length of sheer ribbon. Hold the two ribbons up where they meet and tie them together at this point with the 6″ length of ribbon. Tie the ends of the 6″ ribbon together to make a loop.
  5. Hang the cloud up.
  6. Cut various lengths of the satin ribbon. Tie the ends to a floral pin and pin the lengths of ribbon up into the cloud evenly spaced. Tie a knot in the end of each ribbon. Glue acrylic diamonds to the knotted ribbon ends.
