Green Glitter Trees

Instructions

1. Enlarge templates to the desired size and cut them out.  Use the black marker to trace the Christmas tree shape onto the foam sheet.  Use the foam cutter to carefully cut out the tree, following the package instructions.
2. Paint the tree green.  While the paint is still wet, sprinkle with glitter.  The paint acts as glue and secures the glitter to the tree as it dries.  Paint the wooden dowel green as well and let all parts dry.
3. Glue a 3” ball into the bottom of the container.  Glue a 6” dowel into the ball in the container, then glue the tree onto the dowel.
4. Fill the top of the container with Christmas candies.  Tip: Cover the exposed foam ball with tin foil or clear wrap before filling for unwrapped candies.
