  1. Cut a 2” piece of foam from the top and bottom of the foam ball. Be sure the cuts are parallel or the pot will not sit level. Clean the foam scraps and dust from the table so it does not get rolled in the clay. Insert a craft stick into the bottom of the ball to use as a handle. Brush a thin coat of white glue around the sides and bottom of the ball. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the clay for use as instructed on the package. Roll the clay out thin to create a 12” long x 3” wide strip. Keep the remaining clay moist in a sealed plastic bag and set aside.
  3. Wrap the clay around the ball and seal the edges together. Use a little water to moisten the edges first if needed. Form the clay around the top and bottom of the ball.
  4. Roll out the remaining clay into a small circle to cover the bottom of the ball. Smooth edges and seal in place.
  5. Embellish the pot with the clay push molds or stamps.
  6. Cut the stems of the succulents to about 1”. Arrange them into the top of the pot as shown. Conceal the exposed foam with floral moss.
