Fast & Easy – even for your child to create favors for their parties!

Materials (for one favor):

  • FloraCraft® Brand Products:
  • STYROFOAM™ Brand Foam:
  • Ball, 2 1/2″ diameter
  • Spanish Moss
  • 1 5/8″ x 2 1/2″ plastic spray can lid
  • Craft Spray Paint: Basil or Sky Blue
  • 16″ length of 3/8″ wide lavender stripe ribbon or orange polka dot ribbon
  • Flower stem, lavender or orange
  • Tacky Glue
  • Scissors
  • Craft snip or floral cutter (For adult use only.)
  • Serrated knife (For adult use only.)
  • Fine sandpaper
  • Paper towels or newspaper
  1. Assemble materials for either the lavender flower favor or the orange flower favor. Use sandpaper to lightly sand plastic lid before painting.
  2. Protect work area with paper towels or newspaper. With adult help and in a well-ventilated area, spray paint lid. Let dry.
  3. Have adult use serrated knife to cut foam ball in half.
  4. Glue one half of ball, flat side down, into lid.
  5. Have adult trim flower stem to appropriate height for lid.
  6. Insert flower stem into foam ball half.
  7. Apply glue to foam ball. Press Spanish Moss into glue.
  8. Tie ribbon around center of lid and knot for finishing touch.
  9. Follow these steps for additional flower favors.
