Instructions

  1. Press Desert Foam® mug plug into bottom of each pail. (Use tacky glue to secure as needed.)
  2. With die cut machine, cut several assorted colors and sizes of flowers from felt pieces and from fabric, per manufacturer’s instructions. Glue together three layers of flowers to make one flower. Continue to make a total of seven flowers. Glue button to center of each flower.
  3. For stems, use wire cutter to cut seven 10″ lengths of wire. Wrap wire around dowel to coil it and then scrunch and bend it for an irregular look. Glue one end of wire to back of each flower and cover end with small square of scrap felt. Referring to photo, stick flower stems into foam in pails. Manipulate stems to arrange.
  4. Use paper shredder to shred paper and scrunch it to make paper grass. Apply tacky glue to top of foam and place one color of shreds in each pail. Set aside to dry.
  5. Tear three 3/4″ x 8″ strips of fabric. Thread each through holes in can and knot. Use scissors to trim if desired.
