Instructions:

To create the two sizes of bulletin boards; cut 6” off the end of the sheet so that you have one 12×12” square and one 6×12” rectangle. The 12×12” board can be used at home and the 6×12” board can be used in a school locker.

Use a pencil to draw about a 4.5” wide 5 petal flower shape in the top left corner of the 12×12 board. Draw a 3.5” x 3.5” square 1” up from the 6” end of the 6×12 board and cut out with the cutter. Save the cut out square for future step. Use the cutter to carefully cut out the flower shape; be careful to cut only on the pencil line as you want the flower to fit nicely back in the cut out space. Now cut the flower in half so that it is only 1” thick, save the other half of the flower for a future project.

Cut an 18” x 18” piece of the fabric and cover the 12 x 12” board. Cut an 18” x 12” piece of fabric to cover the 6×12 board. Wrap with fabric just like wrapping a present, gluing the fabric tightly in place at the back of the boards. Use the tip of your scissors to snip an opening in the center of the cut out spaces. Now cut slits in the fabric from the center to the outside edges of the openings. Glue the fabric down inside the openings. Glue ribbon to cover the inside edges of the cut out spaces on both boards. Cover the cut out flower shape with fabric and glue ribbon around the edges. Glue a piece of fabric to the back of the cut out spaces on both boards. Be sure the right side of the fabric appears in the opening.

Cut three 1”x ½”x ½” cubes from the left over cut out square. Cover each cube with ribbon and glue them to the inside edge of three of the flower petals on the board. The cubes should be glued all the way into the bottom of the opening. Now glue a small piece of Velcro to the top of each cube and to the backs of the flower petals. Now the flower will stay in place and hide your secret stash.

To attach the mirror to the 6×12 board; cut two 14” pieces of ribbon, fold them in half and glue the ends together to form a loop. Slide the mirror into the looped pieces of ribbon with the glued ends at the top. Glue to secure the ribbon along the edges of the mirror front and back. Glue the glued ends of the ribbon to the front of the board so that the mirror hangs in front of the opening.

Cut lengths of ribbon and glue to the backs of the boards for hangers.

Embellish your boards with ribbons, charms and appliques.

Instructions

Use rotary paper trimmer to cut two 6 1/2″ x 7″ “May Flowers” and two 2 1/2″ x 7″ “Pinstripe” pieces. Use 5″ scissors to remove handles from gift bag and discard.

To decorate bag, apply glue stick to back of one “May Flowers” and position on bag front, aligning bottom and side edges. Apply glue to one “Pinstripe” and attach, aligning top and side edges of bag. Similarly cover back of bag. (Note: Sides of bag are left uncovered.)

On back of bag, use glue stick to attach gingham ribbon over seam of adjoining papers. Evenly trim ribbon with bag sides. Similarly attach ribbon to bag front. Cut 8″ length ribbon, tie into bow and diagonally trim ends. Use glue spots to attach bow approx. 2″ from left edge of ribbon strip. Layer and use glue spots between buttons and to attach to bow.

For handles, use paper punch to re-punch bag holes. Cut 20″ length yellow ribbon. On bag front, thread ends through holes from inside to outside of bag and knot each end. Use remaining yellow ribbon to make handle for back of bag.

Stack and use tacky glue to glue together 7 7/8″ sides of Desert Foam®. Let dry. Apply tacky glue to one short end of Desert Foam® and place glue-side-down into bag. Let dry. Refer to photo. Place yellow iris down into Desert Foam®, positioned in center of bag. (Trim stem end as needed for proper height, according to photo.) Add daisies to either side by pressing down into Foam. Apply tacky glue to visible Desert Foam® and cover with Spanish moss.

Apply “Spring Fever” sticker to matteboard tag. Cut two 6″ lengths gingham ribbon, tie into ends of tag and diagonally trim ends. Attach to lower right front of bag with two layers of foam mounting tape for added dimension.

Craft pick (or something to make small holes)
Paper plate

Instructions

Carefully remove top of crystal section and green foam ball from Gala Bouquet Holder™. Set aside green foam ball for future use. Replace with white STRYOFOAM™ ball, using tacky glue to secure in place. Reassemble Gala Bouquet Holder™.

Use rotary cutter on cutting mat and acrylic ruler to cut eight 2″ wide strips of tulle. Similarly cut each strip into 2″ squares.

To attach tulle square, use craft pick to make a small hole into STRYOFOAM™ ball; squeeze tacky glue into hole and use craft pick to push double layer of tulle into hole. Give pick a little twist before removing. (Tip: Start in lower sections of holder working up to top of ball.) Continue until all sections are covered.

Use the foam cutter, serrated knife, to cut the sheet into three equal 12×12” pieces.

Lay out the lettering for the inspirational words across the top of the three separate sheets. Lettering should be about 2” to 3” down from the top of each sheet. Use the marker and ruler to draw a box around each of the words. Remove the lettering and cut the boxes from the foam with the StyroCutter®. Follow the package instructions carefully while using this tool.
