Instructions

1. Cover work area with newspapers. Referring to manufactures instructions, paint jar with two coats Chalkboard Paint, letting dry between coats and overnight to cure.
2. Use Foam Cutter to trim Desert Foam® Brick so that it fits snuggly inside jar.
3. Use Wire Cutter to trim major stems from flower bushes. Referring to photo, arrange and insert stems into Brick with tallest in center back and shorter ones toward front. Tuck Spanish Moss around Stems to cover Brick.
4. Wrap ribbon around neck of jar, trim ends with scissors and slightly overlap. Secure with glue spots. Write messages with chalk!

Instructions

1. Trace Muzzle pattern onto STYROFOAM™ block. Use Design It:™ Foam Cutter to cut out. Smooth and round edges by gently pressing cut edges with back of spoon.
2. For ears, use Foam Cutter to cut STYROFOAM™ Ball in half. To make disk shape, slice 1/3 off rounded side of one half ball. Set aside this scrap to later use for nose. Round edges as in Step 1. Repeat with other half ball. Referring to photo, determine placement of ears and use Foam Cutter to trim off rounded area to fit head. For support, insert two toothpick halves into cut edge, apply glue and attach to head with ears leaning slightly forward. Repeat to attach other ear.
3. Glue muzzle to head, extending approximately 1″ below head. Let dry. In a well-ventilated, newspaper-covered area, spray head/ears/muzzle with Almond. Let dry.
4. Use tape to attach two sheets of copy paper together to make larger sheet paper. With pencil, trace face/hairline pattern on paper and cut out. Referring to photo for positioning, use loops of tape to attach pattern to head in order to mask off area that will stay Almond color. (Note: Use additional paper to also cover ears.) Spray hair area October Brown. Let dry.
5. Trace nose pattern onto STYROFOAM™ scrap from ear. Use Foam Cutter to carefully cut out. To make nostril indentations, press pencil into area to shape. Spray with Flat Black and let dry.
6. Refer to photo to glue eyes and nose. Let dry. For mouth, spray clothesline with several coats Holiday Red. Let dry. Position mouth on face and use pencil to lightly draw mouth line onto STYROFOAM™. Remove mouth and use pencil to press an indentation along line, stopping about 1/4″ from ends. Use point of pencil to press small holes at mouth ends. Apply line of glue in indentation and holes. Carefully set mouth onto glue and use pencil to gently press ends into holes. Let dry.
7. Position and glue bow under chin. Let dry.  (Note: Insert straight pins through contact points of bow into STYROFOAM™.)  For hair tuft, cut 4” off end of yarn. Wrap rest of yarn around hand and use 4” length to tie together wrapped loops at one end. Press hole in top of head with pencil. Apply glue in hole and press tied end of yarn loops into hole. Clip loops on other end.
8. Refer to photo to determine angle at which monkey will be displayed. For hanger, on back measure and mark 2″ down from top. Slightly separate curved end of paper clip 1/4″. Insert shorter rounded end up into STYROFOAM™, creating hanger loop with longer end of paper clip. (Hot glue if loose.)

STYROFOAM™ Brand Foam  Wreath, 14″ x 2 1/2″ x 2″



Fifteen 1 1/2″ wide by 45″ long fabric strips*
*(In quilt shops, called a “honey bun”. Also available in 2 ½” wide “jelly rolls”, See Step 1 Note)

Instructions

1. Note: If using 1 ½” wide strips, follow instructions as written. If using 2 ½” wide strips, simply fold strips in half lengthwise as you wrap around wreath and tie for fuller tails – or use rotary cutter to cut 2 ½” strips lengthwise, cutting half as many. (Note: A few extra strips may be needed to fill in at end.)
2. Set aside one 45” long fabric strip for jar tie. Using pinking shears, cut the other fourteen strips into thirds, resulting in three strips of each color/pattern.
3. Work with three same color/pattern of strips at a time. Wrap one strip around and knot on outside edge of STYROFOAM™ Wreath. Wrap second strip around and knot close to inside edge of wreath. Wrap third and knot on outside edge. With next three same color/pattern fabric strips, continue wrapping and knotting around wreath, alternating knots on inside and outside edges. Repeat to cover wreath with all strips.
4. For jar, wrap remaining 45″ length fabric strip around neck of jar and knot. Trim ends with pinking shears. Adjust strips as needed to cover wreath. Decide top of wreath. For hanger, slightly separate ends of paperclip. On top back of wreath, slip short end up into STYROFOAM™ so that longer end can be used as hanger.
5. Arrange flowers in jar. (If needed, attach glue spot on ends of flowers to hold desired position in bottom of jar. Wrap long fabric strip around jar neck and tie, placing glue spot inside when making knot, to hold. Set jar on shelf next to wreath hung on wall.

Instructions

1. Measure about 15” down from one end of the foam sheet and mark a line across the sheet with a pencil.  Use a pencil to draw a tapered point at this end of the sheet for the nose of the rocket.  Cut out the nose with the cutter, save the scrap pieces for the wings.
2. Draw the wings as shown onto the scrap pieces of foam and cut out with the cutter.
3. Draw rounded corners at the bottom of the rocket and cut off with the cutter.  Use the scrap pieces of foam as sanding blocks to sand all the cut edges smooth.
4. Glue the wings in place.  Paint the rocket red white and blue as shown or give it your own look.   Paint the metal ring white.  Let dry.
5. Lay the metal ring on a piece of tin foil and trace.  Cut out the tin foil circle and glue in place at the top of the rocket for the window.  Glue the metal ring to the foil circle.
6. Use the ribbon as trim to help hide any uneven lines where two paint colors come together.
7. Glue the cork board in place on the rocket.  Glue ribbon around the edges.

Instructions

1. Roll out the clay to about ¼” thickness, and press onto ball to completely cover.
2. Press the ball snug into the baking cup.
3. Push two wiggle eyes into the clay.  Shape two small pieces of clay into eyelids and stick in place above the eyes to help hold the eyes in place.  Use a toothpick to draw in a mouth.
4. Cut a stem in half.  Bend each half in half for arms, and push them into the ball on either side.
5. Cut two small mitten shapes from the felt and glue to the ends of the arms.
6. Cut a 3”x3” square from felt.  Glue it into a cone shape for the hat.  Glue a pompom to the top of the hat.  Place on the head.

Instructions

1. For easier handling, insert craft picks into ends of eggs and leave in place throughout project. In a well-ventilated, newspaper-covered area, spray each egg a different color. (Tip: To make the Coral egg less intense, spray a second light coat of Yellow/Yellow.) Let dry.
2. Pour sand onto paper plate. Read Glue for Glitter instructions on can. Over newspaper-covered area, spray egg with Glue for Glitter. Sprinkle egg with sand, gently shaking off excess. Insert craft pick end of egg into STYROFOAM™ block and let dry. Repeat to spray and apply sand to remaining eggs. Apply a topcoat of Glue for Glitter to eggs to assure adherence. When dry, remove craft picks.
3. Arrange eggs on a bed of green Spanish Moss, to display.

Instructions

1. In a well-ventilated, newspaper-covered area, lightly spray inside and outside of double pot with several coats of Clear Finish Matte spray. (This preserves the rust areas and even enhances the color of the rust.) Let dry.
2. Use Foam Cutter to trim Foam Bricks to fit into pots. Apply Quick Dry Dualtip glue between bricks and inside edge of pot, to hold. (Note: Keep level of bricks low enough to allow rusty inside edges to show.) Tear pieces of Floral Moss large enough to cover and place over Foam Bricks.
3. Make arrangement by pushing pieces of German Statice into Foam Brick. Use scissors to trim any double-layered statice areas, to create an open, airy feeling and to allow rusty inside edges to show.
4. For flowers, use ruler to measure and tear paper into approximate 4″ squares, making three blue and two brown squares. Tear off corners to make somewhat round. Carefully scrunch one paper to wrinkle and then flatten. Make a fist and push the center of square into the top of your fist to gather it into flower shape. Press a Glue Spot into paper flower center.  Pinch and manipulate paper to form flower. Press Glue Spot to back of button and press into center of flower. Repeat to make four additional flowers.
5. Use 3D Glue Spots to add paper flowers to statice in arrangement.

Instructions

1. Use glue gun to attach 3 1/2″ side of Desert Foam® Block into bottom of 6″ bucket. Then glue flat edge of Desert Foam® Half Ball on top.
2. Use floral cutter to trim five White and seven Pink flowers to 6″. Insert one White flower into top center of half ball. Then arrange and insert four White flowers, at a slight upward angle, radiating around pot (3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock positions). Insert five Pink flowers to fill gaps between White flowers. (Tip: If necessary, trim stems to fit.)
3. For each monogrammed bucket, use foam cutter to cut ½” slice off Desert Foam® Mug Plug. Hot glue into bucket.
4. Use floral cutter to trim remaining Pink flower stems to 3″ lengths. Similarly insert flowers with one in center and five radiating around it.

Wedding Decorating Tip: Create this arrangement for the center of the head table, with additional monogrammed buckets going down either end of the table. Also, use the monogrammed buckets as guest table decorations, or even as personalized gifts for the guests.

Instructions

1. Cut pieces of blue paper to cover the top of the cube and halfway down on each side of the cube for the sky.  Cut green piece of paper to cover the bottom sections of each side, cutting a wavy line at the top of the green to look like rolling hills in the background.
2. Stick the flowers to each side of the cube, creating a flower garden.  Stick a couple small butterflies in the sky.
3. Fold three stems in half and twist them together.  Cut three different lengths of stems and stick a glitter butterfly to each stem.  Push the butterfly stems into the top of the cube.

Instructions

1. Cover the wreath completely with a layer of batting securing in place with glue.
2. Cut a 14” x 44” piece of fabric and glue it around the wreath like a sleeve, gluing the seam at the back of the wreath.  Glue the ends of the fabric sleeve together where they meet.
3. Remove the paper backing from the stickers and glue the letters in place on the wreath.
4. Embellish with buttons.
