He is cute I made the snowman and used straight pins to hold funfur in place. it worked well for me I used a thin wooden rod to secure the foam together, What a great idea

I fell in love with this snowman and just knew I had to make him! I initially tried with the fun fur yarn, but that didn’t turn out so well. I ended up using Boa and it worked perfectly! I wish I could post a picture.

Thank you for visiting http://www.makeitfuncrafts.com, and giving us feedback about your challenges with the Homespun Snowman project. I had added last week the tip about using a plastic bristled hairbrush to fluff the fur after wrapping. I don’t know if that tip was there when you made your project. If not, please try it, it does work at getting the fur fluffy again.

Wrapping the yarn was a task and a half! Not sure what the secret was there, but mine isn’t as fuzzy as the picture, and I used an entire spool! Also the eyes are a little “buggy”. Guess it turned out cute though, but I won’t be making the second one I originally intended to make.
